Cedar Village is preparing for its fourth annual original play, which will be performed on Tuesday, July 18 and Wednesday, July 19. It’s free and open to the public. This year’s production is entitled “It’s About Time”. The performance focuses on timing mishaps in matchmaking, the precious gift of time and the giving of time to others. The Harkavy Fund is sponsoring the event.
Cedar Village Music Therapist Jude Jones wrote “It’s About Time” and will direct the actors. Her colleague, Art Therapist Jessica Sebastian, is doing all the artwork, prop design and staging. Former Cedar Village Director of Community Relations and Outreach Sally Korkin wrote the song parodies, which the resident choir will perform. About 30 Cedar Village residents, including the choir, the actors and the behind-the-scenes set design workers are involved in the production.
